This year St. Joseph’s Infant is celebrating our 125th Anniversary. Our technological journey continues as we take on a new chapter which is the launching of our School’s Website. It has been a dream of our Principal Mrs. Rose Marie Clarke for many years and we are happy that this dream has now finally become a reality.

As a school that believes that technology is important to our development in the 21st century five challenge-ready teachers, Mrs. M. Dillon-Solomon, Mrs. N. Saddler-McPherson, Mrs, S. Dillon-Gray, Mrs. A. Edwards-Russell and Ms. K. Malcolm underwent 6 intensive hours of training to better help us with the management of the website. As a part of our mission, “Achieving our goals through prayer, determination and excellence” the St. Joseph’s Infant School aims to be proactive with the use of technology in our daily lessons and to uplift the educational standard and functionality of our school; further extending it to our community. “The various trainings garnered from The Manager and Founder Mr. Orlando Dillon of KidzHub Media Network exposed us to a wider aspect of elevation of our school” said Mrs. Shayne Dillon-Gray, one of the trainees.

The training sessions enabled us to effectively create blogs including the insertion of pictures and videos. We were able to posts, publish and to edit them in an effort to enhance the quality of information passed on to the school community and stakeholders. Our mission for the new website is to stay connected with our parents, students, teachers, community and our stakeholders. We intend to show the world that St. Joseph’s Infant School stands firmly by what we believe in that “Excellence Defines Who We Are.”

We encountered a few challenges but with the consistency of Mr. Orlando Dillon our coach, we managed to conquer them all. He was an excellent facilitator, gave us individual attention and equipped us with the required skills for us to manage on our own. Mrs. McPherson was bubbling with excitement as we came to the end of the training and said that “Team work, makes the dream work” a quote taken from John Maxwell.
Today we have completed another milestone. We look forward to the new journey as we continue to share St. Joseph’s Infant School with the world.
